Ian, welcome to the forum. Make sure you carry a pair of polaroid glasses, a good knife and long nose pliers.

Let us know how you fare.

Cheers

A spool loaded with 20lb braid, some mono or flouro leader, some good quality clips (Breakaway fastlinks), some 4 and 5" shads and some 5 and 6" shallow diving minnow lures.

For bait fishing, get some bigger hooks. 3/O, 4/O and 5/O are about right but you'll soon get bored of catching catfish.

looks good however you will end up loosing most of your weights. floats & lures will work good over the rocks. if you take a fishing guide for trolling, they provide all the stuff.

Hi everyone, I am going to Goa shortly and was wondering what size weights I would need to cover all tides currents from beach and boat.
I am used to fishing from the beach in Gambia where the current can be fierce and 6 oz break aways are the order of the day! Any suggestions?
