Sieggy and I went for a day out to Bullocks Farm Fisheries today. Apart from the heavy summer showers, we had an exiciting time catchng Carp,F1hybrids and roach. The biggest carp I caught was approx. 12 lbs. Quite a few were over 1lb. Hook size 16 barbless tied directly to 2.7lb. breaking strain nylon. Bait was corn, pellets and luncheon meat.
Pellet and luncheon meat size was 4 mm.

Hi Derek,
we never weighed the catch as the scales were being used on the match lake and the match had just ended. Phil, the owner estimated the catch at over 40lbs. Not even half the weight as when you and I fished Emerald Pool. The weather was atrocious till about 1.30pm. Did not have much fishing time.
Big kiss for Maya.
Henry.

Hi Keyur,

Great Henry, NO 16 hooks?
amazing , cause I just learnt I couldnt hold a 2+kg marral on a no8 barbless hook-Mr Marral thrashed about-went out of the water-a first for me! and then spat out the hook 5-6 ft awayfrom the bank, as I was fighting him in for a landing!
Kasha hale? Keep on doin it mate!
am still gasping at the use of no 16 hook-I still have the chilwa hooks you gave me, unpacked-dont even have line smaller than 10lb!
Best
Axx

Hi Bops,
Siegy is a friend of Dean Gonsalves. Siegy contacted me through Dean to take him out fishing. A total novice and a happy one at that. He will be back in Bombay on the 9th. July.
