"Country park in Wales."

English waters ?????????????????????????

Nice photo's but catching fish that are all known and have names does absolutely nothing for me.
Give me wild waters and wild fish anyday.

Theer mate, if you get over to India do yourself a favour and don't treat Mahseer as just another application for carp tactics, like so many anglers now chasing barbel do. Try to throw out the rule book and treat them as a challenge to be unlocked. If you come in with an open mind and think about your approach and you'll enjoy the fishjing more and learn lessons that can be applied to fishing at home - I certanly have. and I can't wait to put some of those new ideas into practice.

Hi Derek, Great pics,
what are gravel pits? excavations?
I've seen veitnamese grow fish-as a commercial venture in bomb craters- from their late great hate, a damned practical and innovative idea.(A pal of mine used it for his doctorate)
keep em coming. When you get here, if Mahseer's your forte, then I'm sure we'll see some good pics too
Best
Axx
