Jude do this in case imageshack does not work ure PC.

Register for a free image hosting account at www.photobucket.com. Then use your login and password to log into your account.

Upload the picture from your computer to the image hosting site. Resize the image to approximately 400x300 by choosing edit then select either 50% or 75% or 25% of original size and click on resize.

Once the above operations are done, click on the IMG box below the image. The whole line will be selected example. [IMG]http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g90/IndianAngler/b6541f31.jpg[IMG]

Right click on the box and choose copy.

Paste the link into your post on the forum using Right click and select PASTE.

Then select preview to see if things have turned out correctly.

Use submit to make the post.

This should insert the picture into your post.

Hey Jude - Damn good pics mate.... :P

Doc - There are two ponds.. Havildar tank - I and Tank II... Tank I is a rectangle with a length of about 200mts and breadth of about 120mts... Tank II is round and would be about 300mts in diameter...

Fish found here would be catla, rohu, mrigal, khalbouse, murrel (sal/sol). tilapia, hybrids (rohu-catla) and the occassional turtles..

Average catch sizes of the fish are:
Catla - 2kgs+ ( This season biggest was 18kgs)
Rohu - 1kg to 1.5kg ( Biggest this season : 4.5kgs )
Mrigal - 1kg ( Biggest this season : 2kgs)
Khalbouse - 1kg ( Biggest this season : 4.2kgs)

Most of the anglers here target the catlas because there are real big guys.. Lot of them are over the 10kg mark..

The tanks are netted once a year, during the time when the club is closed.. Fish are examined for any illnesses and growth patterns.. Some time back a catla of about 35+kgs was netted and am told that it was in perfect condition.. Good signs !!

Big rohus and mrigals usually do not come up on the nets as they bury themselves in the bed, and since the Tanks are not man-made, they escape the drag...

Doc - Believe me, its a fantastic fishing experience... Just let me know when you want to have a go.... With all due respect to the other fishing places in Cal, for me, nothing comes close to the Fort...

Gavin,

glad to c u liked the pics.

posting them brought back pleasant memories of that super afternoon.

your machan's gonna be crowded very soon.

Met up with Fred last evening and all even I did was drool drool drool..
Over his kit ...and the various foods he stuffed me with...
Not his prized Aruwanas.... He would have tossed me off his 3rd floor balcony..

Then fish pics  and a 82lb black Coba from his lodge.

I showed him the FW pics and mpegs.
This dude knows what U look like now... and is preparing a special gaff for U.
