Hi Owen,

you are most welcome, :D .. anytime u here just give me a call.. or send a PM.. i would love to go fishing with you... :D

The flow is very slow, where i go the river is like a lake, the deepest portion is abt 50 to 60 ft..

Problem with atta bait is that the small fish will attack it as soon as u drop it in.. al lil far for from the shore, then its some what different....

For me it will be difficult to tell you the size of fish.. but at dawn & dusk u could see them splashing.. some for the splashes I have seen were really big.. I know the locals will always inflate the size of the fish, but 10 / 20 Kg is what every one claims to have caught... the big ones they claim to hv caught are called Khadasi (mahseer) & shivada (cat fish).. i mostly use spinners (hv used all sizes: 1 to 5 ), have also tried spoons, lures (rapala), rubber shads, buzzer baits, liver, atta, dead shrimp.. on moonless nights u get lot of cats... the river & the surrounding areas hv good eco system.. the river also has big size prawns in abundance..

Live chilwa is what should one use..?? can we sue small carp as bait..???

mornings u can also see some small fish jumping & trying to escape as if something is attacking them from bottom.. this happens at the deeper section..

Hawkeye, mate you must be blind! There is a PFD in the online shop. Posted long ago. Have a look.

That PFD in our weather ? ? ? ... no way !!!
Besides thats for waterskiing or rafting ... would look funny on an angler :P
Waiting for one of those that also double as a fishing vest
