Remember the torn ligaments I had when you were over the last time ... i fluffed them up so bad had to use that damn blue contraption to fight the fish ... but to be honest it only hurt when there was no fish on the line .. otherwise .. didnt feel a thing till it was time to drive 600 kms back to bombay by myself

Hey Bobster .. all fish were weighed before they were released .. and the ones we took back to the lodge were weighed in again .... Have 3 nash scales there 2 --50 lbs test for the boat ( use one for Devgarh if we have 2 charters going out of Durg and Devgad and a 200 lbs for the Lodge

Hi Fred,

Wonderful pictures!!. That barra is going to give me sleepless nights. By the way I too pulled my Elbow ligament and have been reduced to troliing since the last two months. Iam nursing the elbow so as to be fit enough to tackle some big fish in March. THe blue thingie could help?

Regards,

Jeen

With an OH reel, I have found that a Kidney Harness is more advantageous than the Gimbal, ofcourse both would be best. especially if you are using a heavier reel and are naturally right handed.

Hi Freddie,

Too nice to have a vacation like this. The pics were superb.

You said there are other pics too. Please post it. If it is not related to angling also, it would be nice.

When will you make us your guest and take us to V Durg ? I would love to be there.

BTW where is V Durg? How far is it from Mumbai?

Do post the rest of the pics.

Cheers,
Apoo

Tell me about it...

Cant forget that morning when I reached B'lore and Owen was at the station to meet me...
He told me that he was tall, but i still thought to myself how tall could this guy be ??
Anyways, he knew my coach # and so I knew that i would not have to look out for him when i arrived at the station..
Now when the train pulled to a halt at the station, i came out to the door and looked down amongst the people to look for OMO.. No sign of the bugger.. When suddenly, I heard this "Hey dude" and I look up and see this tall tall tall guy wearing a bandana and a smile on his face.
Now peoples, let me try and explain my shock here.. Am about 5ft6ins in height and am standing on the footboard of the train which is about 15 inches off the platform, and there u have "Andre the Giant" standing on the platform itself and looking at me, dead straight in the eyes, with a huge smile on his face... "Welcome to Bangalore" :D

Now I know what the Lilliputs felt like when they came across Gulliver

Gav Ure lucky hes not ure father in law --- i can just imagine this -- Gav in his loose undies kneeling down with hands folded -- looking up at the wife -- saying " please darlin ... just one more fish" ------and theres OMO's girl towering above with OMO sitting in his rocking chair rolling a cigarette saying " Let the Runt be baby        - Oh Fluff -- im cracking up
