It was cold and drizzling the whole day but the angler in me made sure i sat and waited ......................and i was finally rewarded, late in the day though.

The fish i caught looks similar to Rohu but the scales are too fine and its definetly not a rohu or any other carp i have caught before, so fellow anglers please help identify this fish.

@ Arish.....i dont think it is a Mrigal because you will notice that it is not slender like a mrigal.

I know this is not the correct forum but can you please let me know where you guys shop for your angling gears in Guwahati...... i am planning to visit soon and i need a lot of things...
