Ali bhai sahib,

Gustakhi maaf.... But would it not be easier if a spinning reel were to be
Used in lieu of the overhead ?

There would then be no need to reverse positions , as it were ?

Regards,

kingfish

I liked your Bhai Sahib...

The ideal reel for this kind of fishing is a bait runner but as I had explained in my previous post, I trust this reel (The Drag) with my life and somehow this is my favorite reel.. Till date I had lost four unstoppable fishes, using spinning reel (Don’t suggest me to use stella for Powai fishes  ) and I am using this reel as an assurance against the same not happening again.

@ Kamran

Kamran, you can only fish in Powai as a guest to some member..

Regards,

Ali.

Amazing stuff. I believe seeing a student get the desired results is the ultimate feeling for a teacher. Congrats to the young angler and Alibhai.

Cheers !
