This was a great fishing trip I had with my cousins at the Akkampally Balancing Reservoir of Nagar juna sagar project.. We fished out allot of Rohu as of we are fond of the Rohu fish much. :-) It was four hours of fishing till we fished out these and then all due to the heat of the blazing sun we all were in the water playing with the fishes, snapping these pictures.. ;-)

From left My far cousin Ilyas, Jameel bhai, My taya Mr.Waseem and Mujju and Me.

Hehe you noticed them looking behind.. this hyderabadi shikar is a different type and is really complicated.. we had lost on of the fishing sticks with the hook, hooked to the fish(long story) ;-) so everyone was watching for the stick which was popping out every 15minutes out of the water and getting again into the water.. lol. But we did not get it back no matter how much we tried.. we lost the stick.. :(

Quite Impressive Yaser. Congratulation for Such a catches. And where is Imran?

How funny that you loss your sing ki chadi(stick). Do share the experience no matter how long it might be, we are still excited to know what actually happened.

I already have posted the video of 28kg rohu in one thread way back. If you don't mind can i post the pic of that fish you are holding with all your muscle and mood

@all: Water is very clean that why Hyderabad receives its share of drinking water from this balancing reservoir. ;)

Thanks and Regards
Arish.

Thank you Arish. :) And Imran? Whom are you talking about? And We use Synthetic nylon in place of Singh Arish. It would be great if I'd show you those one day.

And the story of sing ki chadi goes like this.... :) So.. this one morning we had all gone for fishing At Akkampally Me, mujju and Ilyas sat down starting with powdering a little konda What happened was I hit the first one in no time and mujju came running with the net for taking the fish out.. The time I played with the fish and bought it to the corner and finally into the net, during that peroid of time mujju had casted his line already.. so what had happened was the chadi had gone into the water(i guess the fish had grabbed held of the complete goli and stuck the treble hook to itself just like that) and the charakh had stuck in the rocks somewhere and also I guess the crab had bit a little of the charakh line so it broke with the pressure of the fish pulling it.. and the chadi went out into the water... mujju saw this after he went back to his chadi.. funny it was.. Daada says it might have been a big Catla because of the big gigantic mouth it has, it might have gulped the whole of the hook as well as the konda attached above it. :) and no wonder the chadi was popping out here and there all day long.

We tried Casting spoons, treble hooks with a rod but all went in vain. The fish was roaming to far from the corner. Hope you understood my explanation though it was too long..

And yes I've seen your post of the 28kg Rohu. And I would like posting the picture of the Rohu if you don't mind Arish.. No offence.. :) Alright? :)

Hehehe.. it was a fun experience and i understand the situation well, the post is not long at all but a tiny one compared to those shared by well respected anglers here... i also believe it is a big carp, since my uncle too missed one big carp there the same day im standing in my current profile pic, the strong sudden pulling force of the carp(either a rohu or catla) was so powerful that it even leave a scratched mark in his finger and his hands were still shaking when i come back to him, the fish missed because the leader knot was unknotted and the fish went away with the treble hook. The crab can't be able to damage thick line of charakh, i think it is due to strong pulling force of giant carp and line might have scratched with the rock thus it broke(my stupid guessing :? ).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7JykOHPOd0[/quote]

the video is well recorded displaying everything: style, skill, crystal clear view of line and fish. One of the best i have seen.

in the above video is not mujju stole your mood by posing and running away with your catch

after this mujju might have shouted like "WHERE IS MY PRIZED STICK" and was in shock because i think it is the same chadi where he caught 28kg rohu.

ok go ahead and post the pic of rohu you want to... :D

Thanks
Arish!
