hi guys ,,this is my second rawas i caught in goa ,,the first one was little small 2 kg,,,this second one 4.75 kg was caught after 2 hours of trolling in hot sun,,i had given up thinking that i would get nothing on that day,,and then suddenly,,something slammed my lure big time,,,i fought with it for two minutes and then it was gaffed by my partner,,,rawas runs like crazy,,,like a bullet train,,wooom,,,way to go man,,,it was caught last dec 2009, c.i.d kolwankar,,, :P :P :P this one was weighed too by me properly,,, since you have doubts ,,,,, :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink: my prevous trip had yeilded me one rawas and nearly 5 rawas i brought near the boat that day and they had got de hooked,but they were small,,,hope you guys like the picture

As for the weight. I don't think it is 4.75. Looks a bit more like 4.70.

Merwyn,

You are such a cheater!! You told us that you caught this fish on a rod and a line. Just holding the fish and the rod does not mean you caught it with that fishing rod. The gun shot wound on the fish clearly says it all... you liar :)
