Nice fish Tiger.

I may be wrong but it looks lot less than 6 kg. Few things that made me say this are:
1) 3 drinks [smilie=sillyjester.gif]
2) The picture of the fish in the Ice box and the one on the lid looks to be taken zooming in to it...
3) The photographers shadow on the wall
4) and the size of ice cubes,
5) Length, width & height of cooler.

If the MJ is 6 KG in weight, the expected size of the fish will be around 2.5-3 ft in length.

Now that makes the ice box at least 2.5 to 3 ft in length and 2 ft in height.. that is a huge ice box and almost 8 to 10 " of ice cube.

the eyes also look small. Check this 6 Kg MJ.

Santo the fish was weighed in the icebox with the ice. I'm sure this clears up your confusion.

Patraon,

Translation: Be it 6 kilo or 60 kilo, you've got a kingsize MJ.

No worries about the weight chief, we all are not too good in measuring without a scale. The important thing is you caught what I never caught :) Congrats once again and please learn how to upload the picks in the right manner else give this contract to Sayed :)

This time I will do it for you.

Shy??? You must be kidding Tiger. How the hck do you feel Shy in a photograph or are you feeling shy trying to upload that photograph.

MERWYNTIGER wrote:

Use 2 rods 6kg x 2 on 2 rods will make it 12 kg. Just Kidding Merwin. Hope you catch the biggest one and upload the pic with you holding the fish.

Check your wire leaders everytime you spin or troll they tend to get corroded because a slight opening in the nylon coating allows the saltwater to enter the 7 strand wire through the gaps and it takes not more than 48 hours for it to gather rust.

Hey Tiger!

That seems like the day of your life mate. Lots of great hook ups. Sorry about the break-aways but I think they are all equally exciting.

cheers

Raj : These MJ's were caught at jaigad long back. These are photos from one of my posts on the forum. They really made my life miserable. They were caught on Halco lures.

Freddie : Action yet to begin.
