I was in Norway for a week last month for work and managed to spare some time to enjoy the outdoors and fishing. I only had an opportunity to fish once - for 2 hours and managed to land some Pollack which were all under two kgs. The weather was still very cold and the tide was low......

Thank you everyone for the replies. Although the hours were limited, the fishing and the views were spectacular. I was using a silver spoon to get some casting distance.

Very nice setting, congratulations on the fish. You are a lucky chap to be able to fish in Norway, it's a beautiful country.

Thank you Bops,

I fell in love with the natural beauty in Norway. Due to work I was unable to spend much time fishing, but the weather was too cold and most of the rivers and streams were closed for trout and salmon.

I will be returning to Norway in August and thats when i plan to dedicate atleast 2 days for fishing.
