In nagpur we do not have any good shop for branded fishing tackle so i decided to make my own spinning rod by making some changes in solid spinning rod available here. It was crocodile 6 footer, i wanted 7 ft so i replaced the upper half section with fibre glass material. reel used is a white rabbit with 30 mm line loaded. till now i don't have much idea of spinning but i am inspired by all the forum mates. thanks to ali bhai who suggested me to do spinning.

Great job Manish.
Good effort you put in.
0.30 mono-filament should be around 12 lbs depending on the line quality.
All the best and may you catch lots of fish with this setup.

Hi manishhgin
During old days ( some 10-20 years back) there used to be lot of fishing equipments shops at mominpura square ,now last December whin i visited Nagpur there is only one shop left ( at the corner T junction -road coming from masjid & going towards golibar chowk) selling mostly fishing gears procured from mumbai/calcutta- dam cheap. Have you tried this shop? he do have some equipments as per- in and around Nagpur's requirements. I think he can also arrange, if you give some advance to him. just try this shop.

yes it is and the rod is very stiff that's why i have changed the upper piece with less weighted glass fibre material. now it is working fine and can beat any other branded rod. will post some pictures very soon which i have made recently

all the best
Manish
