Can see a pearl spot (heteroplus) too at the top right.

there were caught from a rocky area in river where the water was fast! sorry at that time i didnt know that it was a masheer! :oops:

To me it looks more like a common carp (big khavli) and not a Mahseer.

I have caught one that was about the same size.

Ali if we can catch small GT's almost 7-8 Km up river in rapids, anything is possible. :lol:
