Had a one day fishing trip to Wasi along with wifey, bro-in-law and kido.
Two rods on ragi and one on earthworm. First cast and it was a huge pull and on strike there was nothing . On retriving the line ,found the half hook. It could be Mahseer or a otter.
Half hour past got a 500-700 gm. Common carp. Another half hour may have goneby and got another one of same size. After that it was a lull for two hours but next was a 3kg Mahseer on ragi.
Around the time of lunch got another Mahseer of roughly 1 kg. As usuall had a break of two hours and sailed to the “MACHAN” at bout 4 o clock. Got numerous pulls and bite but could only land a 500 gm common carp and a 1kg mahseer.
In the night Kumar called and put his spotlite to a round marble size object which was moving along the opposite bank. To my awe, he said sir it is a croc.
Wifey always insist on coracle ride and I thought for good I should never stop her.

Hi Prakash,

Congrats for the fish caught. Earlier when i used to go fishing my family ( especially my wife ) never believed that I caught so many fish. Hence I started taking them along. This is one more advantage of taking your family alongwith you. Thnks for sharing the pics and happy fishing.

Spoonangler.

Dear Mkeen/Fred,
The guy in the picture is my bro-in-law and the kid is my brothers son.
Thats why english is a funny language. If it would have been HINDI i would have written Bhatija for the kid and there would have been no confusion.
