Hy Everybody,

after getting lot of help and information about fishing in India at the All India Saltwater Compilation i was lucky to catch a Barramundi on the second evening (77cm) in North Goa.

The Barra was caught at about 8 pm on a rubber lure.

regards,

Markus

Thats a good catch I must say. Which part of North GOA are we referring to, if I may ask. If my plans work out well. I intend to do some fishing in GOA.

Tight lines.

Congrats Markus.

What was the line weight used?

It is really exciting to catch barramundi. I had the experience but not landed it. The fish was hooked and was giving some early pull but suddenly it was not reacting. So i was in the mindset that fish was tired and it can be easily landed. Immediate after it comes to the surface, it started his pull by shaking head both the way and splashing the water. Finally barramundi won the race. I was left with damaged hook. (hook straightened).

Markus, share your experience of the catch. I really in search of barramundi.

Salmonmani.

Hello!

The exact place is not important, i think there are a lot of places where a good catch is possibly, just go out there and fire the lures out.

The same i think is with the the lures, a lot of lures will work, just try them.

The Line used was a 40LB Spider Wire Invis Cast Braid Line.

It was really exciting hard fight!
Got two more on the hook, one lost by jumping, one lost on the rocks.
There was no chance to stop this fish even with a brutal fastened drag.

More information i can not give, cause i dont know more.
You just need the luck to be at the right time at the right place:)

tight lines!
