Beautiful lake, but its the firat time Ive seen someone leger for trout. Were you after Brown/Rainbow or the local snow trout?
Also, are you fishing in winter?

no its not Tsangu lake. its a lake much higher than Tsangu lake. Though Tsangu lake has a lot of brown trouts we are not allowed to fish there..connected with religious sentiments.
i was fishing for silver trouts , and they have introduced rainbow trouts from this year, so i guess the next time im there, i'll get a picture of one.
i had the rod on stand for the pic. the lakes huge and we were just two of us, pretty far apart so the pics are on timer.
not winter maybe early spring .

silver trout is an extinct species of trouts as per wikipedia. if these fishes are still there in this lake , its a brilliant discovery .do you have any picture of these trouts?

Their is no species of trout present in the subcontinent called silver trout. It must be a local name for the silver variety of the Loch Leven Brown Trout.
If your not into fly fishing, try small plugs next time.

mm ok so i might have to get a pic up here of the extinct fish...cuz i might be wrong, abt the name i typed in.
glad if i foound the fish. well it's what they call it here.
the trouts have a season , one season for fly anmd the other for plug bait.
i was trying the plug bait style. hooked me some neat fishes.
the fishes are silvery with lil red-brown-silver spots all along the body.
wil get a pic next time around ok.
