Here are some of the fish one can catch in Japan...
Japanese red sea bream (snapper)
Cuttlefish on a special squid lure called 'egi'
Trevally in Okinawa caught on a handline
This is just a sample of some of the great saltwater fishing to be had here. There's more on my blog.

If you ever end up this part of the world, drop me a line!
There is good fishing to be had all year round.
If you end up having a quiet day out, when you get back to shore you are spoiled for choice for sushi, seafood restaurants etc... and of course fisherman's choice, the local firewater, which is distilled rice spirit.
