Nice fish Keith!!

Were they hooked by casting?

Keyur, I use 4 Lb line 1000 series reel, 4 to 10 lb 6 ft rood & size 14 hooks in powai. I am satisfied with the method i use & the fish I catch.

BTW, I am a salty. Nothing comes close to saltwater fishing.

Santosh

That one looks as big as you mate. What ever happened to that fish after you landed ???????

What was the gear like MS steel wires or something and a baudi ka wheel :) just kidding chief that is one hell of a catch. Am I invitied to POWAI as well. Planning my vacation in Dec 09.

Hey,

You are most welcome to fish at Powai anytime. Do let me know a week before you head to mumbai.

That is my dad in the above pictures. Powai has some monsters and it requires a whole lot of patience....luck.....and the right ground baiting.

how is the fishing scene in dubai ? Was on a business trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi last month. wish i knew this site existed back then.

Hi Saiki,

Wish you all the best in catching your dream fish soon. I do travel to Kolkata a lot for work, will get in touch with you once i plan a trip. Kolkata is a beautiful city with many lakes and i am sure that monster is somewhere hidden in one of them. Tight lines.

Keith
