I was invited on this all expenses paid for fishing trip to Costa Rica. All I had to do was make a trip to the US. After that it was a private plane pick up and off to Costa Rica.

5 Days of Blue Water Fishing, 2 boats and about 8 persons totally. A small luxury estate was booked for the whole group and the entertainment after a days angling should just be left to ones imagination.

I had to back out from the trip a month in advance as was selling my apartment in Hong Kong. The good news is I have been invited again for a hunting trip in October, a River fishing trip in Canada (helicopter drop-offs), and the next game trip. I will make it to at least one of the three.

My friend Sanjay went, he hates fishing. He stayed 2 out of the 5 days and returned back to Hong Kong as he had some work to attend to as well. He had a blast. They had 2 boats going out and caught about 14 - 16 fish per boat per day for the first 2 days. Love what his T-Shirt says, Here are a few pictures:

Hi bobby,

Nice pics and a great location. But your friend is with the wrong bunch of guys. The bill fish scene is a different matter altogther. However there is mind blowing top water action on poppers and stick baits for rooster fish, cubera snapers and yellow fin tuna which is the real thing. And ofcourse some crazy peacock bass, and othe game in the rivers on light tackle. If you are going tell me and ill put you on to the right guys.

Jeen

Thanks Guys,

Jeen, much obliged if you can pass me the details of your contacts. The trip was for billfish, they took some good Marlin later on and even 1 on the 1st day on the other boat.

Only one of the guys spent for the entire trip it ran to 45K so I would not call them the wrong bunch

This was Sanjay's first trip and first fish he caught, the bloke dislikes fishing. The last time I took him spinning he left within half hour. This time he was trapped on a boat

Bobby
