The said river contained different variety of fish. The fish which we can catch on bait fishing i.e. katala, rahu, eels (Mastacembelus armatus/Zig-zag eel ), etc., are very much available in the river/dams. But we have not interested in bait fishing. We always target Mahseer on rapala/Spoon, but most of the case we got shivada.

The big one of 1.5kg (I always try to tell true weight)

We normally used rapala upto 9cm length / s.steel spoon. We have never used spinner as the depth of the river is not constant it is very from 3 ft to 20 ft. and also contained grass.

Yeah most anglers inflate the weight of the fish a wee bit

Do you'll catch any mulley, bigger than the ones in pics. HOw do the mulley fight????? Any other fish that you'll catch in these waters.

Mulley more than 3+ Kg giving good fight? I have caught the mulley weight more than 6kg around 3 ft length.

With Rapala/Spoon, I caught only Mahseer other than Mulley. Other fish like katala, rahu, eels (Mastacembelus armatus/Zig-zag eel ), etc. with traditional nets or with big Spatula (just like harpoon fishing) in dark night. Are you ever try this type of fishing?????????

Hi Hemat,

How will it be to fish at this time of the month. Also can one used live baits for fishing since the water must be muddy. Is it allowed to fish at this location ?

regards

Wills
