Hi All,

We had been to fishing on 07.03 with my friend Venkat at Bhavani sagar.
Hoping that we could catch few murrels as the water level was going down by every day.

Also I had caught few decent ones last month and hoping this time also the same.

By 6.00 am we had reached the dam and immediately my friend had landed a Singara very surprisingly.

After that we have been tried for almost 3 hours and nothing. Not even a single strike, but we had seen a plenty of action here and there.

My Gilli advised me that the group fishermens were into one particular species called Khari mean( Tilapia family ) and disturbing the water toomuch.

This time also I had released one King Fisher which was caught on the fishing net.

Finally we had returned home.

regards

Thanks Mate. may you always land fish. Next time please burn the net.

Incidentally, that is a White Breasted Kingfisher.

A noble act indeed! Many anglers in pakistan call the kingfisher "bhaibandh", because it is a fisherman too.
What lure did you catch the singhara on?

Well done mate. Truly a noble act in setting free the king fisher. The net should be burnt when ever found.

Very good work. The fish is nice but the act of releasing the kingfisher is a noble one.

Regards,

Ali.
