Hi FB,

You must look for Masheer in the upper waters from the Marble rocks. From the Melghat go up river 3 to 4 km and try bigger spinners. You will catch Masheeer and Murrel.

I am already fishing befor to Bhedaghat ( India famus Water Fall called Duadhar "Bcauz Water falls and evaporates Due to huge big fall and massive water strikes & vapurs in the air looks like DHUA (The White Cloud! = DHUA DHAR)").
My these days targate is after BARGHI DAM which is 10-14 Kms before MARBLE ROCKS (India Famus Soft white Marble Rocks).

My fishingg place is after Bargi dam 4 kms and 8 Kms before to Marble Rocks.

I am already fishig with Spoons and Lures those have at least some Spoons fitted.

TOday also I went to known for Mahaseer and Murrel, there Narmada River flows Fast among rocks but no luck spent 3+ hours.

Hope i wil get decent size sooner. Efforts are end less!

Finebaba the location looks great but the water is coloured. Try bright lures in Firetiger or Chartreuse colours or wait until the water clears up.

Cheers

Locals reported that there are Mahaseer up to 15-20 kgs, Murrels upto 4kgs, Katia 4kg, Mirgils 4-5 kgs, and other Carps also. decent size.

Bops i am waiting for water to get clear and also this water level depends on the , Electricity that genrates from Bargi Dam.

Only in summers Water leve goes down, or the Off seasons.

I was trying with Silver and Golden Spoons.

Santosh is the man  for mission impossible 3.

Hay Finnebaba,

Nice Mirgal on spinner. It is a great achivement. I think the colour of wate was murky and that is the reson why this Mirgal took the spinner.

and yes, be a bit patient while retriving the fish. Do not just yank it.

Any way keep it up and you will land many more fishes.

Regards,

Ali.

Let it remain a secret ... there is a club rule which says 'casting not allowed in the bay area' - Although I have always wondered why?

Secretary saab - Ali bhai - time to re-write some rules ???

The Reason is simple, if we allow casting in bay area, some of our members, you know who will start ripping a small spoon with two big trebles in hope of hooking some unsuspecting fish. Thats the only reason that casting is not allowed in bay area.

Regards,

Ali.

Congratulations! Fine baba for that nice Mrigal.

You have a very nice location there. Try now from October onwards and you are going to catch a big one for sure. Don't forget to share the pics.

Regards,

Arun
