hi sualeh,
i will be only too pleased to tell you.
the (pole) rod is a 11.5 metre maver model. the elastic running through two sections is a hydro 6-10. let me explain. it is a hollow elestic of 2.5mm. dia filled with a special liquid. when the fish runs. the elastic gives. the longer it stretches, the higher the resistance to the fish as the oil is squeased through a narrower elastic. that is supposedly how it works. the line is 5ft of 4lbs. b/s. a low b/s as the elastic tires the fish and takes the strain. hook was a 16 barbless. the light float only needed .25 grm. to cock it. i fished at 7 metres. depth 3ft. 4 ins. the exact depth was 3 ft. 2 ins. so setting the float two inches higher allowed the baited hook to lie 2 inches on the bottom with the smallest lead shot eight inches above the hook. that is it. bait was pellets made from fish meal. please do not hesitate to ask any questions. pleased to be of help cheers, henry.
