Has anyone on the forum fished around the Lakshadweep islands? Place looks awesome, i'd like to know what the angling potential of the place is though.

Had a look at your post again, Flyfisher. I thought that was the Andamans and had forgotten about it. Looks like you had a great time.

I'm keen on making a trip there but would like to do some surf spinning with poppers. Don't fancy trolling from a boat since I'm a super candidate for sea sickness.

Hi Bops,

Agatti island (where I stayed), is a coral island. Mostly small fish in the lagoon.

I was hoping to find bonefish, since they are present in Maldives. I snorkelled to look for them, but could not see one.

GT's are there, but you have to be near the reef. And you need a boat to reach the reef.

So maybe you will get a chance to be ..... official fishfeeder

I fell seacksick only once (it was terrible), and it was the first time.
Important thing is to focus on a stationary object, and not to go out with a full stomach.

The fishing is too good. But you have to be in a ....... boat

regards

I'm okay as long as land is in sight. The last time I went out in Chennai there was no land in sight

Funny thing is there's no sickness when the boat is moving, it's only when it's stationary.
