  dont know what to do here. Something nice stashed away..you could visit the 4 floors of WHO&%$...but be very carefull it can get confusing, some of the boys look prettier than the girls [smilie=puking.gif]  at all costs avoid the Crazy Horse Bar.

There is not much fishing in Singapore I am told however you can take a 45 - 60 minute fast freey ride to Indonesia (visa on arrival Indian passoport holder) cost of visa is US$10, there are some real cheap charters there. You can also get it organised from some of the tackle shops on Beach road or Arab Street.

Hi,

Have a look at http://www.fishingkaki.com. You should find what you're looking for there.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the help guys.

Hey! Gav, the missus is not coming this time but she is a pretty cool angler. Casts a mile... but refuses to touch the fish. I have got my daughter who's just four also hooked to the sport. It's a sneeky long term plan to always be able to go fishing.

Most of the takle shops (about a dozen of them) are in the area arround the corner of Beach Road and Arab Street.
Several of these including Sabre Tackle can set you up as part of a charter group targeting enything from big GT's off of Indonesia to Sailfish off of the Malay coast.

Local fishing is rather more dificult with the coast heavily targeted by commercials. the reseviours do have some interesting fishing (including peacock bass) but the best catches seem to come from places that you're not suposed to fish.

You may not do much fishing but I can almost guarantee that you'll overspend in those tackle shops. If you're not to much of a tackle tart, check out Hock Ann Sports on Beach Road for last years Shimano reels at knock down prices.
