Hey All!

Can't keep driving out for the weekend. wife will kill me. Does anyone know any good fishing spots around delhi, the day trip type. Please share!

Damdama lake is nearly dead. And the jamuna is a sewer. Where else can one go?

all we have here are sewers labelled canals! I have been on many exploration trips and agree with you-maybe I've found a spot ...clean water, fast flowing canals-waiting for summer!

Inder, I havent found fish utopia -yet! ;)
You guys have it far better in WASI lakes and headworks and Forbes etc

what was this lake near Faridabad, with 500gm to 2kg rohu as standard issue? Badkhal? How dat doin'?

Badkal is dead and gone. Does not exist. Has been drained by those dam colony builders. The water level is down to a foot in a bath tub sized pond that is full of plastic bags
The last time I went there was in 2001. And it was great fishing. But that was the last of it.

never fished for mahseer or mulley above Wazirabad. But a lot of 'kaloonch' are being taken right now. Might just go on sat/sun.
