To the moderator who posted that comment, just out of curiosity, how do you know if that fish is dead or not ?

The eyes of the fish are shining and bulged when alive, that is how one can tell its alive, anything short of it can be considered dead. Plus if you have fish that are in the kitchen sink, on a plate, near the fire or on the bathroom floor in this case then I'm sure the fish did not swim its way to any such places. I hope I have been able to answer your question. [smilie=coolup.gif]

20130215: I see, thanks mod. I failed to assess the condition of the fish's eye and color from that quality picture. What I did miss to see among the pictures that OP posted was those other pictures with the fish in the sink and bathroom floor!

. as per forum rules the moderator is right,,,in my case i have this habit of fishing and then taking the fish home and then click snaps at home . previously all my catches are on my bathroom floor snaps but now i have decided to go fishing with a camera along and click the snap on the spot so that i share the snap with my fellow anglers. i am in complete agreement of the rules of our forum.

Congratulations Merwyn! hoping to wet lines with you some day, plus no offense to your post that seemed offensive as Amitabh Bachchan once said in the movie Namak Halal, "English is a very funny language." Now everyone's not big B who can walk talk and whatever with English and even if one can it is not necessary for the rest to understand. Well really nice blubber-lip. I think they are the most beautiful fish to catch. they are colorful when alive and once deal they loose their color its almost magical..... plus there's lot of talk about it being one of the best tasting fish..... I hope that blubberlip was released Naughty Tiger!

 Thanks for the flattery Merwyn But your the tiger and Sayed bhai is the lion I am but alone an infant cat learning from the Lion and hoping to wet my line and lures with the tiger someday! if and when that day comes i might evolve into a liger or a tigon! however I guess its a fat chance that will ever happen! some cats are destined to be lions!

Congratulations on your catch its a beautiful snapper and you favourite spot also is very beautiful!

Regards,
Omesh

My Hearty congratulations to Merwyn for those Catches :D keep em coming mate [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

Ha ha haa I see two different pics on a same page  a picture of a proud Big Goan Tiger prowling on the shores   and another of a cautious Cat wearing a life jacket [smilie=giggle.gif] [smilie=lol.gif] [smilie=lol.gif]
I am damn sure you'll float on water without a life jacket , all you have to do is take a deep breath  Tiger ! believe it or try it :P
