Oh my god........

On a trip to Tronica city Industrial area for work....
Almost there 3 km from the destination.....
yes thats when I got a call from the person I was going to meet...
He said he was running an hour late....

And I asked my driver to take a "U" turn...
The car was parked on the side of the road where a board read " Teesra Pushta" ( Third Pushta ).....
walked to the banks of the yamuna where a few locals were sitting with their home made fishing rods.....

Thats where I met Raju....
Will post the rest of the details later " My wife screaming rite now for I am on IA".... She is ok if I am on Facebook but IA for her, brings out some very different reactions....

Sorry I saw no fish and was there for just a little while....
but but but... there surely was something good about this place...

contd...............

Raju was a garment factory tailor... he bunked work to catch fish that day...
I was surprised to see a clean yamuna... it was not stinking... and there were locals sitting and waiting for some big fish... I am sure they were not wasting time there....

Raju told me that since morning they had caught 6 fish of 4kg 7kg 3 kg and 8kg...... I wanted to stay there till they could catch the next one but 30 mins later I had to leave... I asked Raju for his number and he gave it... he offered to take me to some good spots along the river where there were good fish... he also offered to get the permits if I notified him a day in advance...

Yes there is a small shop " GAURAV BOOK DEPOT" that sells lines, hooks, floats and lead.....

On my way back 4 hours later I did not see anyone fishing but I stopped at gaurav book depot... did a little shopping....

I am going to take a day off from work and will be going there some time this commin week...
Guys not a bad place... Delhi walas can try their luck....

will post my trip report soon....
cheers

It is good that you have found a local angler. It is always advantageous to have local knowledge. You can always use that to your advantage.

Catch a good fish and have fun.

Best of luck,

Ali. :P

Big Fish,

Watch out for the UP "most wanted", who often reach there to cool off. Last year there were a few who were trying to kill the water by firing all six rounds

Otherwise great for winter mulley @ 6 am.

Cheers!
