3.30am is no time to be outside, but 6 guys did not think so. What most of us thought to be a joy ride on a boat turned out to be a serious fishing trip. We left the harbour at 4am and reached a fishing location known to the boat owner after about an hour. No sooner did we cast the lines we got hit upon hit. Lots were missed, but most of us did well. We used cuttle fish as bait. Prawns did not get us anything. Within a couple of hours it got too hot to fish and the fish thought so too. Hence we returned back safely to shore.

The summers are in Adolph :)

You might have to venture further into the sea for better results. FYI you have used the wrong link to embed the pics, I guess you used the thumbnail link instead on the forum link :)
I presume you are still chewing the queen fish. I personally don't prefer them for the pan, the are made of elastic ;) The catfish wold have been a better option for the pan instead on the Queen fish. Good to know that you even managed to get these many in the hot weather.

Thanks for sharing - DeZZ

Nice catches buddy,

What is the depth of water (Is there a reef or structure) where you fish.

Regards,

Ali.

DeZZ, It does not matter what you catch, I feel you should post. 8) Just to inspire others who may be catching something small and yet it could be a rare fish. Then resize would not be a problem

Thanks Saravanan, This was posted by me, cos Luqman was busy at work.

Ali,

Thanks. The depth of the water (according to my estimates with line out) was 25 to 30 feet. There were bouys around most of the spots we fished, hence I guess it would be reefs, if not sunken ships.

Regards,
Adolph.

Why do you not try spinning / trolling that spot. 30 ft of water is more than enough for using deep divers.

Regards,

Ali.

Well by resizing I actually meat resizing the pictures. My apologies, I should have put it in a simple way. The later part meant I did not catch much to report :P

Yep Alibhai,

Spinning is good but consists of lot of handy work and we are too lazy for that. Trolling would not allow 6 people to fish at the same time. blah blah blah. We like what we do as everyone gets an equal opportunity to fish. Catch is not the concern here.

Thanks Rajat & Apoo.

and DeZZ..... oh wow really? Is there a simple way? I wouldnt know. I guess you meant to say you didnt catch MUCH to report. I never saw anyone catching "must", "Must" be a new kinda fish. Come on now, we are all having fun here. So if you felt bad or somthin, Im sorry. Pal's forever?
Do post the next thing you catch...... except flu, malaria, lovearia, etc
