Hi Guys,

I was waiting for Adolpf to post about this trip, but he was not interested as he could not catch :P what we caught.

Trip included Me, Adolpf, Joman, Unni, Josh, Abdallah(boat owner) and his brother.

We went around 40-50 Kms inside Sea to find ourselves surrounded by water from all sides, fished for almost 4 hours and caught some good number of fish but most of them were small. Everytime our boat drifted away from fishing spot and we had to move back to that spot again. Most of the fish we caught were Sherry as this is Sherry season.

This was my first time as well as for majority of us to go Deep Sea fishing in a boat(speed boat). Words can't do justice to the experience and fun we had :-)

Here are some pics:

Total gang excluding the photographer(me)

I can see 2 trolling rods mounted. You mean no luck on them?? What bait did you try? Next time try SABIKI 20 / 22 # You might end up catching some scads or perhaps a TREVALLY :)

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers - DeZZ

YES indeed, I managed to land a good size diamond trevally on a sabiki.

Prawns will give you good takes as well.

WOW, that was worth registering on fishemirates forum. This time we will definitely troll. Hope we can find the same boat available or maybe a better boat.

Luqman,

The yellow fish with a black spot is a Dory Snapper.
