Dear friends,

Please advice me about fishing possibilities in harihareshwar. Which method works better in that area? I mean popping or stick bait or bottom fishing?

Also advice me for some famous spot in and around that place.

Regards,
Salmonmani

Hello Mani,
The indian angler competition was held there so read up on those posts for locations and type of fishing available. There is good bottom fishing but it was also a excellent spot for Barramundi.Spinning with lures is productive and the berkley fire tiger and red head in 11 and 14cm size have been very succesful.
Hope you have a good trip

You can fish the rocks behind the temple. Spinning may produce some good results. You can also do some beach fishing in the channel adjoining the temple rocks but be very careful on the beach as it is very treacherous. Just below the steps on the rock, trying doing some bait fishing targeting Snapper etc.

Regards,

Ali.. :P

Thank you godfred and Angler Ali. Im planning to do fishing there on saturday and sunday.

I believe it is very cold now. So what time would be better for fishing from the rocks.

Is it possible to get some bait from near by places?
