The floating Magic
Floating feeder success story
Babloo bhai few days ago decided to try a new rig a floating feeder and while every one were catching fish I mean every one. I was just reading the reports or hearing them (only thing I could do with my broken hand apart from breaking it again in frustration) Babloo bhai was on the other hand hitting success after success on his rig.(again I was suppose to do this report early but could not). By the time I write this his total catch had already added to
Two catla’s 14 and 12 Lb (only one pic available)
One Rahu 8 Lb
One big one missed which emptied his reel in seconds with its first run .
This Sunday I decided to join him (after a very long time) and decide to try his master rig. I also decided to add a new thing which was to anchor it with a heavy weight to make it floating but not flowing .
We casted out rigs out in around 1 pm and also put a rod each with ground feeder and a goli . Powai was at his worst with no activity no jumps only a sullen silence. I was sulking by end of two hour with literally no bites. I was getting frustrated beyond any thing only Babloo bhai kept saying “any time Rajat bhaiya just keep it cool if nothing works this one will” If baloo bhai says some thing like that I always listen but it was almost a border case.
I had almost given up and started to pack up when Baloo bhai pointed out there was some activity near the floater and I saw it dip one or two times and then BANG the Rahu jumped and the reel screeched . It was a success the fish was hooked .
I let the reel run for some time just enjoying the sound of it then fought the fish leisurely not wanting to end the experience my first fish after a really long time with the help of Babloo bhai netting it. We landed a beauty of 10Lb Rahu.
