Hey Guys,

I have just landed up in this place quite close to Dwaka. Require your inputs and guidance for fishing here - Saltwater fishing is quite new to me.

Beaches are rocky with stone and rocks all over - leads to a lot of snag

I have 02 MED- Spinning rods with 20 & 30lb mono on them with 40 lbs wire leader
Lure - Redhead / firetiger/ Hottiger / bluemac / shinner - silver and golden - / tobby

Suggest me for
Tackle to use
Method of fishing
best time

Hi Mayur,

Is the 1st pic of a jetty ? The rocks at the end look nice for some spinning.

Going by the picture of the fishes you have caught, you can try a popper as the top three fish are GT’s the fourth one looks like a Queen.

Make proper arrangements before going out on the boat to avoid any trouble with the authorities.

if i was you I would stick with what you are doing right now. And get lots more of them fish.

hi Santosh, yes the 1st pic is off Jetty
I am tring to go out about 1 to 2 kms off shore as the situation here is damn bad further permission is a big no no.
Will stick to spinning and have a golden and a blue popper too. will try some hand on it - 1st time with poppers
Sure Mahaseerken - will continue doing at least.
