I'm planning a trip to Chel River and the Teesta River.
Are they close to each other ? And have anyone here tried out those places :) ?

This places seems so to have amazing fishes, Teesta river seems to have Masheer and Indian Trouts :) !And Chel River seems to have the Chel Snakehead :) As you guys already know, I'm a snakehead freak hehe ^^ ! So I want to give myself a try to catch that snakehead :D !

It would be a dream for me to visit those places :D !

Hi Aircut

I'm from Kalimpong which is close to the Teesta. Never heard of a river called Chel.

The Teesta is magnificant, according to legends it is the abode of the King of the Snakes.

Forget the fish, the habitat is one of a kind. Used to be a wild river but a m*&^%$f*&^ing dam has been constructed.

You take me back to the days when the river was still untamed. Lot of camping & Fishing on hand lines, couldn't afford tackle.

let me know when you intend to pay homage, I'll give you some contacts.

Regards

David
