I have been going after one one my favorite saltwater fish the last
couple of Monday mornings and doing pretty good.
I use swimbaits and hope so of the same tactics work for mahseer.
Small tarpon are a blast.

The tarpon, golden mahseer and the peacock bass are probably the best looking sport fish i've seen. Your catch is no exception, very nice.

Raj I need to learn how to do the picture posting better.

I use swimbaits anywhere from 3" to 6" depending on what bait fish is
in the area.

Thanks for the info scott.
Picture posting is really simple Pal what you have to do is when you host it to the image shack just wait till the page loads completely in the given link chose the link to copy and paste which says "for the forum" which will be towards the middle of the page don't choose the thumbnail version and you will be fine I reposted your pic from your hosting only , Hope this would help
cheers and tight lines [smilie=coolup.gif] [smilie=coolup.gif]

Scott,

That is a very nice fish there. I will be down to the Keys in a couple of months for some Jack Crevelles and Barracudas. Will try to get some tarpoon on the fly as well. Thanks for sharing. Maruthu
