I have a two day trip planned at Corbett this Jan 17/18 and I will be taking my nephews along. I barely know how to fish and so am happy if I get to wet the line somewhere near the forest. I shall be staying inside the forest reserve at Dhikala. Was thinking of using the 19 th for fishing. Could someone point me towards where to go and the sort of bait I should take along? Guess the kids will be happy just to be out there and do a few casts.

Happy new year to all of you, apologies for not wishing everyone earlier.

Regards,

Dev

Atta and jointed rapalas should be the best bet at Marchula, especially the former. The ghillies also swear by large pieces of bread floated downstream.

Yaj.

Happy New Year Yaj and Gypsy. Thanks for the gear tips, I shall actually be stealing some from the good Doc Asif. I know the styro foam story and the adventures of the Mahaseer Sifu.

I will be content if my nephews get addicted to angling, the darn kids have callouses on their nintendo and play station fingers. While they stay in fishing and outdoors paradise.
