Visited Cauvery fishing camp at Bhimeshwari from 24 to 26 Nov 2007 and had a fantastic time.We caught 6 Mahseers (Including one at 16 kg+) and
one Pink Carp (4kg) which was duly fried and eaten. Had a line break (50lbs) on a really huge Mahseer. All in all a fantastic experience

Thanks for your undying belief. Here's something which I hope will convince you. It really doesn't matter, since the satisfaction was mine.

Guys great news from Galibori. Seems Javed from Mumbai had a 103 lb monster from Camp pool on the 30th and another 90lb was taken from croc rocks. Quite a few other big ones taken from Kengal and Moslehalla as well. Confirmed by Bola.
Happy New Year!

Yes Owen the news is true, Javed spoke to Ali about the catch (I heard it was 109 lb). The guy is considered as the best angler in Powai. .. :)

Hi Santosh!
The guides told me it was 103, but what the hell it must have been a beauty, and a great experience.
I understand he had a few other big fish as well this time round.
I saw Javed as he launched his coracle from Hiara in Dec 2006. We were camped there. He was not so lucky that time.
Regards
Owen
