Hi Owen,

Just saw your PM and replied to it. Feel free to copy and paste here but really nothing much to say except that it was a fun weekend out in the sticks.

Rustam

High and coloured - more grey than brown.

Hi Owen,

The trip went off well, like all trips regardless of fish!! The water was high and muddy, but what made things really difficult was the wind.

I reached late so we did an evening session at the gate where the channel that feeds the WASI lake starts. Prathap's nephew Joshua landed a 1.5kilo silver mahseer on ragi. We caught a couple of murral on spinners.... nothing large.

Returned and after dinner fished the WASI lake. As I had run out of patience I fished with worm and had constant action with small catfish. Temperature dropped and so did the bites. Called it a night.

Next morning fished Forbes Pool. Very windy and muddy. Poor Putta struggled to row against the wind. I was ourt with Joshua so I did the casting and he reeled in. CnR 4 murral. Numerous strikes but no hookups.
Didn't fish for mahseer.

Returned to the cottage for lunch. Spun in the lake from the farside. Lost one big fish (3 - 4kilo) and got a couple of strikes. Prathap landed and released one 2.5 to 3 kilo murral. Returned and called it a day.

Regards,
Mighty Marlin.

Hi Apoo,

I did take some pics - mostly of the kids but the camera took a bit of a dunk.

It's taking pics but I haven't been able to load it to the computer as yet. Most probably nothing to do with the camera. I have had this problem in the past and I suspect it's the USB port.

I have pics of some parts of the WASI stretch and will put them up later.

Rustam
