Bops,

theres just too much to view on the posts..
Its like been let loose at a buffet after you have just come back from camp. don't know what to leave out....

And I get to access IA maybe for 15mins a day.
work...work...work...

What do I do to see mails posted only in the last week or latest ??

I see it as soon as I logon...but it gets lost once I start accessing..
Then I have to keep going back or to select a forum.

Also when I add IA on favourites ...its saves as ... india, fishing, masheer, forum, snakehead.
Is this done for a purpose ?? I had a hard time looking for IA when I first started...

Jude

The long site name is intentional, it results in better results on search engines. Do a search on google for "india fishing forum" and see what turns up as number one!

To view only the newest posts please read the post below.

When I log into IA, the first thing I do is open the newest posts listing and open each new post in a new page. That way I can read all without missing even one.

Hi Jude,

Favourites / Bookmarks can be edited. Just click on the words as they appear when you choose to bookmark them and change them to suit yourself. So "india, fishing, masheer, forum, snakehead" can be changed to "IA Snakeheads" or anything you want to call it.

Cheers,

Y3

Hi Bops !

All work and no play makes yak a slow poster. Despite our crazy deadlines, we did make a trip to another confluence northwest of the valley on the road to Tibet - no fish caught but we came back with lots of info on mahseer movement there. The sad part is that the locals are still electrocuting the waters with battery packs. We did what we could to spread the good word but it needs a consistent and concerted effort over many years to effect any form of behaviour change.

Also have some news about mahseer in Eastern Nepal - a place called Maibeni on the river Tamur may just be the next 'Chisapani'. I've been told that a bunch of anglers from Dharan have been educating locals about mahseer conservation over the last few years and this has resulted in much more fish (caught / seen). Catch and release is being promoted here but I'm not too sure about how aware they are about hooks, stringing and handling. I'll keep the forum posted with detailed info and pics soon.

No news from Peter for a while now. But I bet he's catching a lot of fish!

Tight Lines,

Terry
