We anglers have always been looked upon as heathens and non beleivers, since we hardly around for mass, poojas, and religious rituals they tend to fall on days when the tide is just right. No one believes that we lot are really deeply spritual, especially when you hooked onto a big fish who is hell bent on heading for the bottom and you can feel that line being frayed,OH GOD HELP! and then the fish stops starts rising and when you finally have landed him against all odds, there you are a firm believer in the ALIMIGHTY.
Anglers are the least amongst sinners, since we do not have the time to bitch or slander anyone(except lie bout weights of catch)accepted practice, its written in the BIBLE-Give a man fish to eat and he will eat for a day, teach him to fish and he will never go hungry all his life---Fishermans bible-May our kind increase.

Heliox ,
You came up too fast-do your tables again! ;) I used trimix a couple of times in S'pore.Going by your handle, obviously scuba??
yep, Agree with you on the biblical saying. However the good books (s) didnt envision the 2 mile long nets and the whale slaughter  -hence the "empty out the sea "
Lets pray for the solitary angler 's wisdom to prevail.
best

Personally I'm an avowed athiest but walking down the beach in Goa looking at the scantily clad Russian and Iraeli gfirls will have me saying Öh God"several times a day - I might even utter a little prayer.

If I get luck, its going to me "For what we are about to recieve........."

Ah so mate, am a rusty diver, rec only, PADI .sure, the creaky dessicated brain kicks in and heliox dawns-.Used to know a guy from bangalor ea long time ago on Bbay high etc-sat diver etc.

OMO, dont you see the catch. The bird watchers have called angling a cruel sport. Sandeep should take them to the labagh lake and see the damn talepias there and educate them of the different fish.
