I have some back issues of fishing magazines.(5-12 years old)
Should be some useful information for someone starting fishing or maybe just wants something to read on a rainy day.
Saltwater sportsman,Fishing world,Modern fishing etc. Some other miscellaneous fishing books as well.Total -around 30 magazines.
If any body is interested please mail me.
You will have to come to Bandra to pick them up!!

Why do not you donate it to powai club, where many anglers will have access to the same.

Regards,

Ali. :-)

 unless there comes someone in the que. I'd like to read them. I guess Powai would be good as people from Maharashtra can always go to Mumbai and spend a day there fishing and reading these magazines, If something is very useful then it can be photocopied.

@Ali that was a great idea.Thanks.
Who ever gets them now will have to make sure they end up with Ali at the Powai club so everyone there can read them.

@ Mario,
Are you coming over today or I will pass the lot onto Fred and you can then co-ordinate with him when he is finished.Ali has made a good suggestion so I only request that after you finish with them to make sure they are passed onto him.

Dear All

I met Godfrey at his residenece and have picked up the lot of magazines and a couple of Xerox copies of the Circumventing the Mahseer . Once I have gone through them ( already been through half last night sitting up till 3 am ) I will have them entrusted to Alibhai's care at his machan ( Godfreys wish ) in Powai so that those wishing to read them can do so at their leisure ,

There are also a couple of old notes written by Mr Ivan Valles ( Daly) on his experiences of Fishing the Mumbai Haunts that we all know , targetting Rawas and Barramundi .. His notes are "mindblowing" and a collectors item ...I intend to keep the originals / laminated in plastic for posteriety and remembrace of the old days - Those who wish for copies of the same can send me their Email Ids and I will Scan them and send the same to you .

Bobster ,, im sure you would want a copy of them too ... ?

Fred

Original is also available from the BNHS bookshop in Bombay. As also other classic angling books like The Compleat Indian Angler, The Rod in India, Sunlit Waters etc.

This I can vouch for.
Excellent service and access to a vast collection of books including ones not available locally.
Now they even allow cash on delivery in metro cities.

Thanks MarioG for sharing these files. Its definitely of great help.

I am sure most of our anglers have these files, however none had an idea to share the same.

Thanks to every one who has shared their files and knowledge.
