Gavin, it belongs to a fisherman - Gordon Thompson who lives in Mettupalayam.. He picked it up from Australia.

Yeah, I have got a few of these funny ones that I picked up mostly from Australia.

Currently wearing a T Shirt that reads "I'll do it tomorrow, I'm going Fishing today"

Well that T'shirt only proves what a sorry person I'm because I am actually working today  when I really should have been fishing in India...

I have a poster that is very similar, only difference is the angler is sitting in the pouring rain, in a boat that is about to sink.

I had/have a plaque somewhere which read "If you can't fish in heaven, I don't wanna go"

Years ago, while my son was about a few months old it somehow fell of the stand where it was and narowly missed his head. To say my wife was furious is putting it mildly. She promptly picked it up and it went straight into the bin!

Later that evening I managed to pick it out of the bin and sneak it into such a good hiding place that I cannot find it even till this day.

Ironic that the plaque should say something on those lines. As if she saw me sneak that wretched thing in...

I am positive it did not, because when I moved my residence about 3 years ago, I did see it.
