Bops...this is just a thought...As this forum has a lot new members ,I notice that a lot of questions are being asked repeatedly...like the hook sizes we need to use for masheer, the rods we need, which size rod is good for which fish, what we need to look for before buying a rod etc. I was wondering if you could compile all the information we have on hand and make it like a booklet & post it on the forum. This would become a ready reference for anyone who wants such information to use as a guideline. If any doubts on the contents, posts can be made and replies got...what say?..

That's quite an idea!! Now that you've thought of it and know the right tackle to use I guess Bops will be waiting for you to come up with the list of tackle! Looking forward to seeing that list soon.

If I may add my two-bits worth and say we need something like Belli has offered. We learn alot from the existing articles on the forum but this 'what youneed, how to doit, where when, tides etc etc booklet' will be very helpful to both the Indian angler and the overseas angler. Also, tips on how to and where to post a fishing pic[ esp for this computer illiterate oldie] will be most welcome. Iassure you you won't be teaching grandma to suck eggs! for example can you tell me how to attache an emoticons to my email? I really don't know, but will ask. C'Mon Freddie, Gavin, MM, Owen show me.Thanks. Yes,Belli's new idea has my vote!
