The exchange rate is ridiculous and in England is way to expensive at a retail level. So buy off ebay now and have it delivered to you there.

Hi fishies,

This is my personal experience about EBAY. I have ordered a pelagic reel from Australia. They have delivered a china make reel, but i have to pay again some duty for postal.

The reel delivered was looking good but when i started using i found the drag was totally weird. The reel locking (red button) was totally fixed with the reel.

Beware of pelagic from premium fishing auctions.

hahahahaahahaha You'll be back with rhinestone covered spinners.... Maybe that's a good idea.

My suggestion is that you do a search on google. Or get on the the london yellow pages site and get addresses and phone numbers. This way you can call and find out what they have and for how much.

Or head for Surrey Quays/Canada Waters. It's a short tube ride from London Bridge. Once you are there head for a giant mall called IA shop (visible from the station). This store has it all and cheap.

I picked up my travel rods in Wembley at Woody's

Pretty decent chap and also quite cheap .... Take the tube to Wembley station and follow the directions to get out on the west side of the station .. Take a left once out on the main Wembley road .. If I remember correctly its the 3rd or 4th shop on the left as you come on to the main road \

Address

Woody’s of Wembley

565 High Road

Wembley

HA0 2DW

Also helps to make the trip if your misising some good cheap Indian food :)))
