Keyur, I dont have any mags yet. Prakash has only volunteered one sample copy. As per their mail we will need to go in for 250 subscriptions. I'm not sure whether we can rustle up so much interest. We will have to see.

Bops

HI Bops,

we will just have to spread the word around

I dont think 250 is a large no of copies. Besides, there are many who dont have the time to log on to this forum.....we could spread the word around & see what we could come up with.

Hi Bops,

I was also thinking about the same thing. Alot of anglers are not visiting this site because of the time factor or some other reasons. I will try to spread the information.

Hi Prakash,

I definately have no issues with the price. I am only concerned that
I may not get the magazines.

However, if you can give me a price, I could contact a whole lot of anglers here in Dubai and inform them of the price.

Don't have a scanner, Prakash. The quality of the magazine is excellent. Paper quality is much better than Outlook Traveler etc. I hope more of you show interest so that we can build up the subscriptions to at least 100.

Bops
I can come over to your place and take a pic of the Mag cover, so that solves the scanning problem.
If you have photoshop in then I can resize it there and there and put it up

Hi GAV!
Could you please scan the cover page of the magzine and post it here for public evalution. Bops dont have a scanner and i dont have a copy of it.
Also try to garner enough support as it'll help in many ways. We are here in bangalore tryin to adopt one of the lake for conservation and angling. These kind of magzine will help boosting the image of angling as serious game and good mean of conservation.
As discussed with bops magzine will be featuring stories/pictures from all four reigon ,probably you writing for eastern zone covering Bengal, ASSAM etc.
Warm regards

Hey Prakash.. Will do the scanning but the posting on the IA.. ummm :doubt:

So will mail it to the Prong-Man and he can upload the same onto the IA..

But in all fairness, it would be difficult for the members to judge on this mag by the scanned images on its own.. Like Bopper has already mentioned, and I also vouch for the same, the paper quality, articles, and the outlay is very good.. I think the regular IA-posters should take up a subscription..

Hey bops why not put up the subscription form in PDF format. interested members can print it and send them across.

On the other hand, Prakash can ask the publisher to provide a dedicated IA form. which will have the IA reference so they know that these subscriptions are coming through us though us. Do the publisher have a website?

Hi RULES!
Thanks for your input. Its a excellent idea. Although may be a bit difficult on part of publisher for 100 subscription.
The original idea was to send the D.Ds to BOPS with your NAME AND ADDRESS written on back of it and it would have been sent to MUMBAI.

If every member convince and persuade his friend and group members , the numbers will fly. Even without angling thing the magzine is a deal for 490RS.

It seems not many are interested to subscribe. Will wait for couple of days more and may have to call it off.
