GREAT CATCHES CONTEST :)

Ashwyn,

You should have caught the Sail fish, the marlin, the shark, the flounder, some tuna and bonitos. I guess these are the only ones missing in your pics :) LOL
How did you manage to catch all possible types of fishes in one day??
That FATSO Grouper looks like and invertebrate :)
The CRAB has got blood running in his/her eyes.

Congrats mate. Beautiful pictures, who ever has clicked them, got them on time.

DeZZ

Thanks a lot gents. Appreciated. The photos were taken by my wife and are from the days on which she came along for the fishing (which were not many). We were there for three weeks - for the fishing, diving and isolation (no blackberry or mobile phones).

Sydney - thanks and correct, it is the loomis & franklin.

Teritex - we'll make make a very sincere effort to get the other fish on our next trip there.

All fish caught on the trip to Andaman were released (except for the GT - which was brought back for a freind). I don't eat fish, 99% of my fishing is catch and release.

[smilie=coolup.gif] We need more anglers like you who practice catch and release!!

Good fish, cant wait til i get out there in feb.

Catch and release is essential too preserve the good fishing, we have learnt it the hard way !!,
In the last 50 years we have lost the Tuna/wild salmon and both the Cod and mackeral is about too disapere as well.

Søren
