Hi friends.

Im going to Chennai for business trip and have one day (Sep 17th) for angling.

Id like to do boat fishing there.

Could someone advice for following.

1)Could someone introduce somebody who can go together?

2)I d like to do in cheapest way and what is best way for this. I can speak english & hindi but not tamil.

3)I have to go airport to catch up evening flight in same day, so I d like to do angling from early morning to noon.

4) I d like to cut caught fish(if I caught) and carry to Gurgaon in fresh condition using cooler box with dry ice etc. I plan to bring cooler box, but not dry ice.

I don't have information of following.

i)If Airplain allow to carry fresh fish?
ii)Where I can get dry ice at Chennai

Your kind advice will be very appreciated.

I have asked Japanese restaurant in Chennai about this. But they have no idea but rather they said angling in Chennai is difficult since coast guard check permission.

So I think its better not to do boat fishing in Chennai but better to go city near by Chennai(1hour or 2hour far from Chennai)
for boat fishing if possible.

Could someone advice me about it?

Hi,

You have a PM.

I will inroduce some of my friends who can take you out for boat fishing. Boat fishing is allowed in chennai. Someone have given false information about it.

Boat fishing may cost around 1500 to 2000 for 4 hrs trip. It depends on the boat owner.

Wish sea is not rough when you are here.
