Dubai fishing fortnite ago before the picts are send to me.
Specifically for those grounded anglers for whatever reasons.

Hit several good size fish, queenfish, amberjacks, the usual cousin barracuada and several bottom fish.

Queenfish 8kg and 10kg
Barracuda 10kg or more
Amberjack more than 10kg definitely

Enjoy the picts

Cheers

2 Queenfish - Landed with 12lbs braid on Rapala lure on casting. 7ft popping rod with Penn Captiva, observed that the bail keep flipping back during the cast. Good distance achieved from boat but occasionally hampered by the flipping bail.

Amberjack - Landed by trolling with a small yozuri crystal minnow on 30lb test with dive board. 30-80lbs class (Kind of overkill for an estimated 14kg Amberjack) Daiwa trolling reel.

Great Barracuda - Landed by trolling with yozuri crystal minnow with dive board. Rod 30-80lbs class and Daiwa Reel

A heavier rod class is used because of the dive board. Else a 20-50lbs light trolling rod should suffice, with a deep diver lure.

Hi Tacklebloke,

Nice report. Looks like you've had some great action on jig. The jigging action here has been good, with a lot of GT on jig. The Dog Tooth Tuna have been elusive so far, but we managed one on popper!

Regards,

Mighty Marlin.
