Donkey,
Can probably give you a good idea, but won't be back in the UK until Jan 3, fly out this Saturday.
I'm going to be at Bheemeshwari but if the water drops enough might venture down to Galibore. The water is still quite high at the moment, certainly higher than the last couple of years from what I've been told and fish to around 35 lb so far at Bheemeshwari.
There seems to be a bit of low pressure hanging about at the moment so could be some more rain, although hopefully not! The fishing seems to be getting later every year, remember 4 or 5 years ago having a good trip at the end of October and hooking several good fish, now though often seem to get more rain around this time of year and often lose a week or so of fishing - happened at the end of December last year just as i left.

Pity, he always livens up any trip. Had great fun with him out in Thailand and am hopefully off to Surinam with him next year.
I'll let you know what conditions are like as soon as i get back and one of my mates (Joe Assassa, you might have bumped into him before?) is staying on so can find out from him nearer the time you go.
Good luck in Panama and Costa Rica.

river is still high, but dropping so that the rocks just upstream of camp beach are able to have coracle rested on. Caught 45 fish between us in 5 sessions, biggest was 11 pounds silver mahseer. The outer sand bar (near the tree that fell over) of the camp beach has only 1 foot of water flowing over it, and will be accessible in a few days, if not already by today or tomorrow.

I'm just back from Galiborai. The water is still high and slightly murky and the sandbar at camp beach still has about two feet of water over it.

Hi all you Galibore anglers,

Hi Donkey here, what other fish did you catch at Haria? Has anyone fished Kengal? If so, how is it fishing? Have any other big fish been caught at Galibore?

Hi Donkey,
I will be in Galibore between Jan.4th and 6th for a couple of days of fishing. As the manager at the Galibore camp is new and not known to me, I can't call him for the fishing news.
You seem anxious....so are you coming to the Cauvery this season??

Sandeep

Hey Donkey you are getting too worried, just get out there! I wish I could go again but have to find a new job first. I hear John can't make it. I know you didn't catch you 56 last year on a lure  Good luck if you go and say hello to dave for me.

Si
